our process

Planning a party is a personal experience. We all have associations from the past and visions of the future. At WOW Party Planner we know how to listen. We can incorporate your ideas and help to guide your vision. We know parties, and we will get to know the type of party that you want. We can do quiet and intimate, or big and loud. Your personality and ideas will dictate the type of event that we will style for you.

Typically, planning a party with us has several stages:

  2. Idea Generation
  3. Making a Plan
  4. Doing the Details
  5. Keeping On Track
  6. Day of Event

initial meeting

Getting to know you is an essential part of planning your event. We always like to meet our clients in person. We want to know a little bit about you and the type of services you would like us to provide. If you’re not sure about any of the details, that’s fine! We are here to guide you and help you make decisions. The initial consultation is always free, and there is no pressure to use our services after the meeting.

idea generation

After our initial meeting, if you’ve decided to use our services, we will get to work generating ideas and putting together a plan. We will always keep your budget in mind. During this stage we may reach out to you by phone or email, and you are always welcome to do the same.

making a plan

Once we have had time to work on ideas and price things out, we will present you with a plan. This will include an itemized list of all the services we will provide for you, along with prices. There will never be any surprise costs. At this point we can add or remove services and tweak things in any way. Our goal is to be as clear as possible about what we will provide. We want to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. If a decor item isn’t quite what you had in your vision, we want to know. If it’s more than you wanted to spend, we will help to bring down costs with creative ideas.

doing the details

Once the plan is approved by you, we really get to work. We will book venues, source items, make invitations and favours. You name it and we will do it. We can do all the behind-the-scenes details if you don’t want to. We will keep you updated on progress and let you know immediately if any hiccups arise.

keeping on track

At this point we might want to have another meeting in person to check in, though it is not always necessary. As the event approaches we will follow up with any vendors and suppliers if applicable. If your event has lots of decor, we will make sure it is ready to go and in good shape. We will update you on budgeting and communicate regularly if desired.

day of event

On the day of your event we will make the magic happen. Our team of professionals will work together to make your party truly unforgettable. You can relax and enjoy the event, because we’ve got you covered. Our goal is for you and your guests to have a flawless experience.
